੮ : ਖਟ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦਾਂ ਕੇ ਧਰਮ ਮਥਿ ਖਟਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਥਿ ਰਿਖਿ ਸੁਣਾਵੈ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕਾ ਜਿਉ ਤਿਹਿ ਕਹਾ ਤਿਵੈ ਜਗੁ ਗਾਵੈ। ਗਾਵਨਿ ਪੜਨਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਬਹੁ ਕੋਟਿ ਮਧੇ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵੈ। ਇਹਿ ਅਚਰਜ ਮਨ ਆਵਦੀ ਪੜਤਿ ਗੁਣਤਿ ਕਛੁ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ। ਜੁਗ ਜੁਗ ਇਕੋ ਵਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਲਿਜੁਗਿ ਕਿਉ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਦਿਖਲਾਵੈ। ਜੰਦ੍ਰੇ ਵਜੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਜੁਗੀ ਕਥਿ ਪੜ੍ਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਭਰਮ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਵੈ। ਜਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਕਥਿਆ ਚਾਰਿ ਬੇਦਿ ਖਟਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਖ ਸੁਣਾਵੈ। ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਤ ਸਭਿ ਗਾਵੈ ॥੮॥

ਚਾਰ ਬੇਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਕੇ ਤੇ ਛੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਮਥਿ=) ਸੋਧਕੇ (ਬਿਆਸ ਆਦਿ ਛੇ) ਰਿਖੀ ਸੁਣਾਂਵਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਸਨਕ, ਸਨੰਦਨ, ਸਨਾਤਨ, ਸਨਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ (ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੇ) ਜਿੱਕੁਰ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਸੇ ਭਾਂਤ ਜਗਤ ਬੀ ਪਿਆ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗਾਂਵਦੇ, ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਦੇ ਬਾਹਲੇ ਹਨ (ਪਰੰਤੂ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੀ) ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਟਾਂ ਮੱਧੇ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਨ (ਵਿਖੇ ਬੜੀ) ਅਚਰਜ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਭਈ) ਪੜ੍ਹਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੁਛ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਜੁਗਾਂ, (ਚਹੁੰ) ਜੁਗਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਦਾ ਇਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ) ਕਲਜੁਗ ਵਿਖੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਾਹਲੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ? ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਜੁੱਗਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਜੰਦਰੇ ਹੀ ਵਜੇ ਰਹੇ, (ਕਬਿ=) ਵਖਯਾਨ (ਕਰਕੇ) ਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਕੇ (ਲੋਕ) ਥੱਕ ਗਏ ਪਰ ਭਰਮ ਨਾ ਹਟਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਾਰ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਰਣਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਛੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਖ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਨਾਂਵਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਏ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

चार बेदां दे धरमां नूं विचारके ते छी शासत्रां नूं (मथि=) सोधके (बिआस आदि छे) रिखी सुणांवदे हन। ब्रहमादिक देवते, सनक, सनंदन, सनातन, सनत कुमार (ब्रहमां दे पुॱत्रां ने) जिॱकुर कहि दिॱता है उसे भांत जगत बी पिआ गाउंदा है। गांवदे, पड़्हदे ते विचारदे बाहले हन (परंतू ईश्वरी) गती नूं कोई विरला ही कोटां मॱधे पाउंदा है। इह मन (विखे बड़ी) अचरज दी गॱल आउंदी है (भई) पड़्हदिआं विचारदिआं कुछ भेद नहीं लिखिआ जांदा। जुगां, (चहुं) जुगां विखे ईश्वर दाइको रूप है, (पर) कलजुग विखे लोक किउं बाहले दॱसदे हन? तिंनां जुॱगां विखे जंदरे ही वजे रहे, (कबि=) वखयान (करके) ते पड़्हके (लोक) थॱक गए पर भरम ना हटिआ। जिस तर्हां चार वेदां विच वरणन कीता, छी शासत्रां दे नाल सांख वाले सुनांवदे हन, आपो आपणे मतां नूं सारे पए गाउंदे हन।
