Speculating seriously, seer Gotama has put forth the story of the Rgveda. After churning the thoughts, in the Nyaya school, God has been defined as the efficient cause of all the causes. Everything is under His control and in His order, no order whatsoever of anybody else is accepted. He is in the beginning and at the end of this creation yet in this Shastra he is shown as separate from this creation. No one has seen or known this creator, and rather people have remained indulged in the expansive delusions of prakriti (nature). Not realizing that soham parbrahm, the jiv is mistaken in understanding Him as a man (full of fallacies). The Rgveda exhorts the knowledgeable people that supreme Lord is everything and none else can be compared with Him. Without true Guru this understanding cannot be attained.



In Gurmukhi ੯ : ਨਯਾਯ ਗੋਤਮ ਤਪੇ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਰਿਗਿ ਵੇਦ ਕੀ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਈ। ਨਿਆਇ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕੌ ਮਥਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਭਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰਤੇ ਹਥਿ ਜਣਾਈ। ਸਭ ਕਛੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਵਸਿ ਹੈ ਹੋਰ ਬਾਤ ਵਿਚਿ ਚਲੇ ਨ ਕਾਈ। ਦੁਹੀ ਸਿਰੀ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਹੈ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਦਿਖਲਾਈ। ਕਰਤਾ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਈ। ਸੋਹੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਛਪਾਇਕੈ ਪੜਦਾ ਭਰਮੁ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ਸੁਣਾਈ। ਰਿਗੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਹੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਨ ਦੂਜੀ ਰਾਈ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਿਨਾ ਨ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੯॥

In Varaan Bhai Gurdas Teeka by Giani Hazara Singh (Edited by Bhai Veer Singh ) - Gurmukhi ਗੋਤਮ (ਨਾਮੇਂ) ਤਪੇ (ਰਿਖੀ) ਨੇ ਰਿਗ ਵੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਕੇ (ਉਸ) ਦੀ ਕਥਾ (=ਸਾਰ ਭੂਤ ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਨਯਾਯ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਘੋਟਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਿਧੀ ਕਰਤੇ (=ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ) ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੱਸੀ (ਭਾਵ ਜੀਵ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੈ)। ਸਭ ਗਲਾਂ (ਉਤਪਤੀ ਪਾਲਨ ਦੀਆਂ) ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰ ਗੱਲ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਦੀ, ਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਪੁੰਨ ਥੋਂ ਆਪ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਅਲੱਗ ਰਹਿਕੇ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਧੁਨੀ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਜੀਵ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭਿੰਨ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਵਸਤੂ ਹੈ (ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ) ਮਾਯਾ ਦੇ ਭਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਭੁਲਾ ਛਲੀ ਹੈਸੁ। ਸੋਹੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ (ਮਹਾਂਵਾਕ) ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾਕੇ ਭਰਮ ਦੇ ਪੜਦੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੀ ਕਰਤਾ (=ਗੋਤਮ) ਨੇ ਸੁਣਾਈ। (ਰਿਗ ਵੇਦ) ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ:-ਗੁਰਮੁਖੋ ਸੁਣੋ! (ਉਹ ਤਾਂ) ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਵਿਖੇ) ਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਈ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ। [ਇਥੇ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੋਟ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ:-] ਸੂਝ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਈ।


In Varaan Bhai Gurdas Teeka by Giani Hazara Singh (Edited by Bhai Veer Singh ) - Hindi गोतम (नामें) तपे (रिखी) ने रिग वेद नूं विचारके (उस) दी कथा (=सार भूत गॱल) सुणा दिॱती। नयाय शासतर नूं चंगी तर्हां घोटके सारी बिधी करते (=ईश्वर) दे हॱथ दॱसी (भाव जीव ईश्वर दे अधीन है)। सभ गलां (उतपती पालन दीआं) उसे दे काबू हन, होर गॱल विच कोई नहीं चलदी, ते पाप पुंन थों आप करतार अलॱग रहिके दिखाउंदा है, (धुनी इह कि जो जीव नालों भिंन है) उह करता अद्रिश वसतू है (सारी स्रिशटी) माया दे भरम विच भुला छली हैसु। सोहं ब्रहम (महांवाक) नूं लुकाके भरम दे पड़दे दी गॱल ही करता (=गोतम) ने सुणाई। (रिग वेद) कहिंदा है:-गुरमुखो सुणो! (उह तां) आपे ही आप है (उस विखे) द्वैत तां राई जिंनी वी नहीं। [इथे भाई साहिब जी हुण आपणा नोट चाड़्हदे हन:-] सूझ सतिगुरू बिना किसे ने नहीं पाई।
