ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੫॥
जनु नानकु बोले गुण बाणी गुरबाणी हरि नामि समाइआ ॥४॥५॥
Jan Nānak bole guṇ baṇī gurbāṇī har nām samā▫i▫ā. ||4||5||
Servant Nanak chants the Glorious Words of the Guru's Bani; through them, one is absorbed into the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||5||

Goojaree, Fourth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਊਤਮ ਊਤਮ ਬਾਣੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੇ ॥
हरि जन ऊतम ऊतम बाणी मुखि बोलहि परउपकारे ॥
Har jan ūṯam ūṯam baṇī mukẖ bolėh par▫upkāre.
The humble servants of the Lord are exalted, and exalted is their speech. With their mouths, they speak for the benefit of others.
ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਸੁਣੈ ਸਰਧਾ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
जो जनु सुणै सरधा भगति सेती करि किरपा हरि निसतारे ॥१॥
Jo jan suṇai sarḏẖā bẖagaṯ seṯī kar kirpā har nisṯāre. ||1||
Those who listen to them with faith and devotion, are blessed by the Lord; showering His Mercy, He saves them. ||1||
ਰਾਮ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਮੇਲਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
राम मो कउ हरि जन मेलि पिआरे ॥
Rām mo ka▫o har jan mel pi▫āre.
Lord, please, let me meet the beloved servants of the Lord.
ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
मेरे प्रीतम प्रान सतिगुरु गुरु पूरा हम पापी गुरि निसतारे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Mere parīṯam parān saṯgur gur pūrā ham pāpī gur nisṯāre. ||1|| rahā▫o.
The True Guru, the Perfect Guru, is my Beloved, my very breath of life; the Guru has saved me, the sinner. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਵਡਭਾਗੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੇ ॥
गुरमुखि वडभागी वडभागे जिन हरि हरि नामु अधारे ॥
Gurmukẖ vadbẖāgī vadbẖāge jin har har nām aḏẖāre.
The Gurmukhs are fortunate, so very fortunate; their Support is the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
हरि हरि अम्रितु हरि रसु पावहि गुरमति भगति भंडारे ॥२॥
Har har amriṯ har ras pāvahi gurmaṯ bẖagaṯ bẖandāre. ||2||
They obtain the Ambrosial Nectar of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; through the Guru's Teachings, they obtain this treasure-house of devotional worship. ||2||
ਜਿਨ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਜਮਿ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
जिन दरसनु सतिगुर सत पुरख न पाइआ ते भागहीण जमि मारे ॥
Jin ḏarsan saṯgur saṯ purakẖ na pā▫i▫ā ṯe bẖāghīṇ jam māre.
Those who do not obtain the Blessed Vision of the Darshan of the True Guru, the True Primal Being, are most unfortunate; they are destroyed by the Messenger of Death.
ਸੇ ਕੂਕਰ ਸੂਕਰ ਗਰਧਭ ਪਵਹਿ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨੀ ਦਯਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਮਹਾ ਹਤਿਆਰੇ ॥੩॥
से कूकर सूकर गरधभ पवहि गरभ जोनी दयि मारे महा हतिआरे ॥३॥
Se kūkar sūkar garḏẖabẖ pavėh garabẖ jonī ḏa▫yi māre mahā haṯi▫āre. ||3||
They are like dogs, pigs and jackasses; they are cast into the womb of reincarnation, and the Lord strikes them down as the worst of murderers. ||3||
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਹੋਹੁ ਜਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੇਹੁ ਉਬਾਰੇ ॥
दीन दइआल होहु जन ऊपरि करि किरपा लेहु उबारे ॥
Ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl hohu jan ūpar kar kirpā leho ubāre.
O Lord, Kind to the poor, please shower Your mercy upon Your humble servant, and save him.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੩॥
नानक जन हरि की सरणाई हरि भावै हरि निसतारे ॥४॥३॥
Nānak jan har kī sarṇā▫ī har bẖāvai har nisṯāre. ||4||3||
